A PROJECT FOR LOCAL HERITAGE AND CULTURE

The Cacciaconti Music Festival brings the art of chamber music to unparalleled settings of history, art, and natural beauty in Tuscany.  Offering performances in towns that have preserved their cultural and architectural souls in serenity – untouched by the tide of overtourism – provides a distinctive experience for our audiences.
Amid the rolling green hills of the Valdichiana and the Val d’Orcia, between Siena and Arezzo, the festival offers artistic experiences of the highest order, celebrating a land that enchants with its Romanesque churches, medieval strongholds, untouched villages, vineyards and olive groves amidst the timeless flavors of Tuscany.
The festival bears the name of the  Cacciaconti family, lords of Trequanda and of many locations of the Val d’Orcia dating from the 9th century, rooting the project in a rich cultural legacy and creating an ideal bridge to Radicofani—home to the legend of Ghino di Tacco, a rebellious and magnetic figure who shaped the story of this land.

The Cacciaconti Festival is organized by Milano Classica,
in collaboration with the Municipality of Trequanda, the Municipality of Radicofani and Castello Cacciaconti srl Social Enterprise.
