Winner of the Gazzelloni Scholarship and the “V. Bucchi” Prize for 20th-century music, Claudia Bucchini is an active chamber musician who has collaborated with artists such as Enrico Bronzi, Alexander Lonquich, Lorenza Borrani, Andrea Lucchesini, and Matteo Fossi. She also works regularly with Contempoartensemble and Tempo Reale, ensembles dedicated to contemporary art music. She recently took part in the complete recording of Francis Poulenc’s chamber music for the Brilliant Classics label. As a soloist, she has appeared in renowned venues including the Salone dei Cinquecento at Palazzo Vecchio and the Teatro Niccolini in Florence, the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, the Festival di Minori (SA), the GOS Auditorium in Barletta, the Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto, the Sagra Musicale Umbra in Perugia, and the Auditorium of Debrecen (Hungary). She has been invited to give masterclasses in Italy and abroad at institutions such as the Conservatorio di Lugano, the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester (UK), and Musikene in San Sebastián (Spain). She frequently serves on juries for national and international performance competitions. Her artistic development with musicians including Luciano Tristaino, Michele Marasco, Jacques Zoon, Andrea Oliva, and Chiara Tonelli deeply shaped her attention to sound quality and interpretative nuance, combined with a commitment to technical clarity—an approach she transmits passionately to her students. In addition to teaching at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole, she is a faculty member at the Conservatorio Briccialdi in Terni, where she also serves as Coordinator for Disability and Learning Support, a role she undertook after completing two master’s degrees on the subject.
