PIERRE GÉNESSON
Il clarinettista Pierre Génisson, uno dei più rinomati rappresentanti della scuola dei fiati francese, ha firmato un contratto esclusivo con Warner Classics/Erato. Il primo album di questa nuova collaborazione, dedicato a Mozart e realizzato con il Concerto Köln, completa una discografia già ricca e unanimemente acclamata dalla critica (Diapason d’or, Choc de l’année di Classica, ffff di Télérama, “CD of the Week” del Sunday Times, Gramophone, Clef d’Or di Resmusica…). Insignito nel 2018, con il premio “Cino del Duca”, conferitogli dall’Accademia di Belle Arti dell’Institut de France, Pierre Génisson è anche vincitore di prestigiosi concorsi internazionali come il Carl Nielsen International Competition, il Jacques Lancelot International Competition di Tokyo, oltre che delle fondazioni Banque Populaire, Safran e “Musique et Vin au clos Vougeot”. Pierre Génisson si è formato al Conservatorio Nazionale Superiore di Musica di Parigi con Michel Arrignon per il clarinetto e con Claire Désert, Amy Flammer e Jean Sulem per la musica da camera. Dopo aver ottenuto all’unanimità i primi premi in entrambe le discipline, si è perfezionato alla University of Southern California di Los Angeles con Yehuda Gilad, dove ha conseguito un Artist Diploma. Abile sia sugli strumenti moderni che su quelli antichi, Pierre Génisson è regolarmente invitato a esibirsi come solista con prestigiose orchestre quali il Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, la Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, le orchestre della BBC, l’Orchestre Métropolitain de Montréal, la Odense Symphony Orchestra, la Sichuan Symphony, l’Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège, la Düsseldorfer Symphoniker, la Insula Orchestra… e collabora in particolare con direttori come Krystof Urbansky, Olari Elts, Darrell Ang, Sacha Goetzel, Alexandre Bloch, Laurence Equilbey e Lionel Bringuier. Accanto alla sua attività solistica, Pierre Génisson moltiplica le collaborazioni musicali con alcuni tra i più celebri quartetti d’archi (Ebène, Modigliani, Jerusalem, Zemlinsky, Hermès, Van Kuijk, ecc.), nonché con solisti come Maxim Vengerov, Alexander Sitkovetsky, Nemanja Radulovic, Marc Bouchkov, Miguel Da Silva, Lise Berthaud, Jean-Frédéric Neuburger, David Kadouch, Franck Braley, Michel Dalberto, David Bismuth, Bruno Fontaine, i Solisti del Metropolitan Opera di New York, Patrick Gallois, Marielle Nordmann, Emmanuel Ceysson, Karine Deshayes e Delphine Haidan. Fervente difensore della musica contemporanea, Pierre Génisson promuove la musica francese all’estero e collabora con numerosi compositori, tra cui Tristan Murail, Thierry Escaich, Eric Montalbetti, Karol Beffa ed Eric Tanguy, ai quali sono dedicate diverse opere concertistiche e cameristiche. Pierre Génisson dedica inoltre parte del suo tempo alla trasmissione del sapere, attraverso numerose masterclass nel mondo e presso l’École Normale de Musique de Paris Alfred Cortot, dove è docente. Clarinetist Pierre Génisson, one of the most renowned representatives of the French wind school, has signed an exclusive contract with Warner Classics/Erato.
